Kapalua and Napili are located on the Northwest coast of Maui in one of Maui’s premier resort areas. The district features views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. The 23,000-acre, master-planned Kapalua Resort is the main focus of the region, which is built on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains on land formerly devoted to the cultivation of pineapple. The Volcanic Coastline features dramatic vistas, with the stark contrast of the rugged volcanic rock sheltering numerous world-class beaches, fantastic snorkeling and some of the best surfing in Hawaii. Host of the renowned Kapalua Wine & Food Festival in June, and the Sentry Tournament of Champions in January, there is always something fantastic to enjoy in this special corner of the world.
